The main purpose of this scheme is to support meritorious students living in the poor family. With this scholarship they have got a chance to carry on their studies and make successful their dreams. The WB Govt. bears a huge amount for this purpose. In the duration between 2011 to 2021 the Govt. has expensed 1235 crore rs for this scheme. From the year 2011, 762898 students have been benefitted in this scheme. In 2011 the Govt. provided annually 6000-18000rs per students in this scheme. But afterwards it has been increased gradually. In 2021 it reached the highest peak. The Govt. paid annually 12000-96000rs per students. The students are benefited by this progress. Any hard copy of application form will not be provided from the authority.

The Govt. has provided this scholarship only to the regular students not the students such as Open/Distance courses. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022 benefits all the students of Xi & Xii, B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, Engineering, Medical, Technical, Professional Courses and Management Courses, possessing 60% marks. But the candidates who are unable to admission in current year for their unavoidable issue are also capable to apply for this scholarship but they have to carry 75% marks in previous year examination.

Who are able to apply Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022 ?
The candidates must be the students of Government/ Govt. Sponsored/ Govt. Aided School from WB Board.
For Under Graduate the candidate have to carry 60% marks in Diploma Course from AICTE approved institute
For Second Year Engineering, Technology and pharmacy courses the institute should be WBSCT&VE&SD affiliated.
Or State Medical Faculty affiliated institute for second year pharmacy courses
For general education the students have to carry 53% marks in sum in Graduation (Hons. Sub) from any State University for applying Post Graduate Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022.
For Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy courses the students must carry 55% marks in Graduation from State University or from any institution approved by AICTE for applying post graduate level Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022.
Eligibility for Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM) 2022
The Candidate should be a Regular Student of Recognised Institutions. [Described above] after secondary examination.
M.Phil & Doctoral Students [Non-Net] of State aided Institutions will be able to apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022
The annual family income of the candidate should be below 2.5 lakh.
Girls students studying in Post Graduate (Science/Arts/Commerce) from any University under State Govt. after completing graduate courses getting 45% marks from any state recognised institution will be able to come under Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022 as Kanyashree(K3) applicants.
The Students availing to Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2022 can not able to get any Govt. Scholarship or stipend for same courses in same academic year
