Ans :- They had to make the most of each other because there was nobody for them to play with on the Big Half Moon Island.

Ans :- The narrator’s father didn’t seem to have any relations except them. This fact used to puzzle Claude and the narrator.

Ans :- They repaired the kite with an old letter lying on the book case. They patched the kite up with the letter, a sheet on each side and dried it by the fire.

Ans :-  After reccognising the very letter Aunt Esther turned pale. She recognized the kite’s owner by watching the names written on it – Claude Leete and Philppa leete. Philippa was her mother’s name and Claude was her father. She also understood that it was the very letter she had once written to her brother.
