Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that I am Amrita Banerjee, a student of class ix and also a residence of school hostel. I have regularly attended all classes. But before three days I fell ill. My father took me home with the permission of the hostel super. I was suffering from serious fever. Today I feel better and have returned to the hostel. Most humbly, I beg to state that being confined to bed I could not come to school from 10th November to 12th November.
Therefore, I shall be highly obliged if you kindly grant me leave of absence for those 3 days only and allow me to rejoin our classes.
